Maybe it's just me, but I think the most disturbing commercials on TV right now feature the "Homes Made Simple Squad". Have you seen them? It's a coterie of women cooing over air fresheners and cleaners. Worst of all is their vile British leader: Kim Woodberrrrrn. With her head pinched into a hideous bun (and a skirt that, let's be honest, is frighteningly short) she helms these "casual conversations" into uncharted and loathsome territory. It's all about being "company-ready" so you're always prepared for the drop-in visit. And clearly, keeping the house spotless is the sole responsibility of women - otherwise there would be at least ONE man on this "Squad". Now, I'm not a woman but if I were, I think I'd feel that these commercials have set us back 100 years! But as a man, I just wish they'd stop showing that scary woman in the horrific skirt.
